The Canadian Event Awards is Canada’s premier recognition program for the event and meeting industry and are known for their rigorous competition process, with entries reviewed and scored based on the merits of creativity, problem-solving, innovative solutions, design aesthetics, and more.

Fallsview Casino Resort hosted a multi-faceted celebration of Lunar New Year – Year of the Rabbit with activities starting January 23 through to February 5, 2023. Lunar New Year is a significant event for Fallsview Casino and casino patrons, as it represents the celebration of a new year and hope for good health and fortune for the year to come. It is one of the biggest holidays in the Asian culture and this celebration in particular was an extra special event, as it welcomed back patrons post-COVID. Hot Summer Fun officially kicks off on Thursday, May 16 at Fallsview Casino with the third season of Backyard BBQ. Fallsview has partnered with some of their favourite local food vendors, who will be whipping up some of the hottest seasonal flavours along with delicious beverage selections and live music from talented local bands and DJs, to keep the good vibes flowing all day long. On May 16, 91.7 Giant FM will be live on location with interactive giveaways, elevating Fallsview’s backyard with the hottest rock hits. The total prize pool for the World Poker Tour Fallsview Poker Classic event is estimated at $5 million. This year’s event consists of a series of satellite tournaments, two super satellite tournaments, one turbo bounty tournament, two individual events and one World Poker Tour (WPT®) main event.
