(Niagara Falls, ON) July 8, 2025 – Laughter and mind-blowing moments take focus in the new year as legendary comedian Colin Mochrie and master hypnotist Asad Mecci bring their hit show Hyprov: Improv Under Hypnosis to the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino on January 2 and 3, 2026. Hyprov blends two incredible art forms—improvisation and hypnosis—to deliver a wildly entertaining 90-minute performance that The Times of London hails as “a celebration of the human imagination.” The evening begins with Asad Mecci hypnotizing 20 willing audience volunteers. The participants then join Colin Mochrie on stage to create an entirely improvised show—while still under hypnosis. With audience suggestions fueling each scene, every performance is 100% unique, unpredictable, and hilariously original.
Colin Mochrie is a beloved comedy veteran best known for his long-running role on Whose Line Is It, Anyway?, appearing in every episode of the U.S. version and its current revival on the CW Network. His quick wit and improvisational brilliance have made him a household name across over 100 countries. A Second City alum, Colin Mochrie has toured globally with fellow comedian Brad Sherwood and performed with orchestras across North America in The Second City Guide to the Symphony. He is also the author of Not Quite the Classics and recently appeared as the winner of Netflix’s Last One Laughing Canada.
Asad Mecci is a globally recognized hypnotist and peak performance coach whose work has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Toronto Star, and on MTV, BBC, and Entertainment Tonight. In 2015, he co-created HYPROV: Improv Under Hypnosis with comedy icon Colin Mochrie, combining hypnosis and improv in a one-of-a-kind stage show that has toured across North America and Europe, including an off-Broadway run and a Las Vegas residency.
