When Fallsview Casino opened to the public on June 10, 2004, it signaled the arrival of a new entertainment destination in Niagara Falls. It represented the largest privately financed construction project in Canada and a defining role in the tourism revitalization of the city and the Region from a seasonal stopover to a year-round destination.
In addition, the City of Niagara Falls has received more than $214 million from OLG in proceeds for hosting casino gaming in the community. Over the years, this money has been reinvested in vital services and projects for the people of Niagara Falls.
Since opening, Fallsview Casino has welcomed over 121 million people and continues to draw millions more every year with its 2.5 million square feet of shopping, dining, hospitality, and entertainment. It remains one of the Region’s largest employers and maintains a commitment to its legacy of responsible corporate citizenship and generous community support.
Through the last two decades, Niagara Casinos’ commitment to giving back to the community has remained steadfast, with support going to more than 170 charities and non-profits within the Niagara Region. Through the ncCommunity program, Niagara Casino sponsored organizations include United Way Niagara, Gillian’s Place, Project S.H.A.R.E, the Niagara Health Foundation, Pathstone Mental Health and hundreds more.

As a toast to 20 years and to celebrate Fallsview’s passion for creating monumental and exhilarating experiences, the resort has planned some spectacular promotions, exceptional anniversary food and beverage specials, an exclusive 20th anniversary beverage and a 20th anniversary concert performed by the one-and-only, quintessentially Canadian singer-songwriter, Michael Bublé on June 21.
