(Niagara Falls, ON) May 13, 2024 – If there is only one must-attend event this summer, it’s without a doubt, Fallsview Food & Drink Fest. This four-day event from June 6 – 9 continues to burst with flavour, as Fallsview announces the addition of two new chefs to the already stacked line-up, as well as over 40 different food and drink vendors and five new sponsors, who are ready to take your taste buds on a culinary journey.
Joining Fallsview Food & Drink Fest for the second year is Chef Bob Blumer. He’s back in the kitchen and eager to share the delicious dishes he’s creating for the Celebrity Chef Dine About on June 7th and Food Con on June 8th along with Aarón Sánchez, Geoffrey Zakarian, Mary Berg, and Rocco DiSpirito. Bob Blumer is a gastronaut with an adrenaline addiction. He has written seven acclaimed cookbooks, created and hosted three award-winning TV series that have aired in over 20 countries, and broken eight food-related Guinness World Records.
Also joining Fallsview Food & Drink Fest is first-timer, Chef Spencer Watts. Spencer has been working as a chef for more than 20 years and has always had a passion for the culinary arts and all things food. A high school gingerbread contest focused his passion and he completed his culinary arts degree at Vancouver’s Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts. Over his career Spencer has traveled and medaled in the Culinary Olympics; opened and run his own restaurant; and helped architect some of the most popular dishes at different restaurants in the Vancouver area. He continues to advise and develop delicious dishes for various restaurants and now counts himself among the Canada’s most popular television chefs. He has hosted 150 episodes of food television including his most recent series COMFORT FOOD which won “BEST IN CANADA” and viewer’s choice BEST MULTI CAMERA SERIES at the 2023/24 Taste Awards.
“The team has been working around-the-clock to elevate this four-day experience and year two is going to be even more flavourful than last year with the addition of new chefs, vendors and sponsors,” says Cathy Price, Vice President of Marketing, Niagara Casinos. “Get your tickets soon – Friday is almost sold out, select tickets are still available for the Saturday and Sunday is sold out.”
Fallsview is also thrilled to announce over 40 different food and drink vendors who will be in attendance on both Friday, June 7th at the Celebrity Chef Dine About and June 8th at the Food Con. Food, drinks and the celebrity chef experiences are all included in the ticket price. On Friday, enjoy culinary delights from Red Ganache, Chz Plz, Moksha Indian Bistro, Dispatch, 11th Post on Queen Street, Smokin’ Buddha, Smoke and Moonshine and Groovin’ Bytes. On Saturday, Red Ganache, Chz Plz, Moksha Indian Bistro, Dispatch, 11th Post on Queen Street, Smoke and Moonshine and Groovin’ Bytes will be back with the addition of Rizzo’s House of Parm, Soulicious and Titas Mexican. There will be a huge selection of local wine, beer and spirit vendors, including: Amo Wines, Creekside, Ferox Estate Winery, Lakeview, Niagara College Teaching Winery, Queenston Mile Vineyard, Ravine Vineyard, Redstone Winery, Reif Estate Winery, Riverview Cellars Estate Winery, Twenty Bees, Two Sisters Vineyard, Oast House, Exchange Brewery, Newark Brewery, Silversmith Brewery, Corby Liquor, Maverick Distillery, Ironwood Ciders, Shiny Apple Cider, Decew Falls Brewing and NB Distillers.
