(Niagara Falls, ON) July 13, 2021 – Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara are excited to announce that we will re-open in accordance with Provincial approvals at 10am on July 23 to the public. Invitation only events will be held on July 21 and 22. Both properties were shut down on March 16, 2020 in line with Provincial measures to curb the spread of COVID-19.

FALLSVIEW CASINO RESORT AND CASINO NIAGARA WILL NOT BE RE-OPENING ON JULY 24, 2020

(Niagara Falls, ON) July 21, 2020 – Niagara Casinos is excited that with Monday’s Provincial announcement the Niagara Region is allowed to enter Stage 3 on Friday, July 24. This is a great step forward as a Province and Region and we look forward to welcoming our guests and associates back soon.

As the province has announced, casinos are permitted to re-open in Stage 3, but with significant restrictions in place. We are currently reviewing the re-opening requirements and how the capacity restrictions will impact the re-opening of our casino properties. For this reason Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara will not be re-opening on Friday, July 24.

NIAGARA CASINOS DONATES SURPLUS FOOD TO LOCAL CHARITIES

(Niagara Falls, ON) March 20, 2020 – Niagara Casinos as an organization has always taken great pride in our ongoing partnership with the local community, and this partnership is even more important as we face these unprecedented times together.

Niagara Casinos has donated surplus food items including dairy, fruit, vegetables and other perishable items. These food items were given to over 10 different local charities and organizations in order to support those in need in our community. These included Project Share, Women’s Place, FACS Niagara Region, Community Care, Casa El Norte, Soup Kitchen, RAFT, Fonthill Seniors Residence, Out of the Cold and more.

CLOSURE OF FALLSVIEW CASINO RESORT AND CASINO NIAGARA

Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara will temporarily close all casino and resort operations as a precautionary measure.

“The health and wellness of our guests and associates is our top priority” said Richard Taylor, President, Niagara Casinos.

“We have been working diligently with the OLG, and can confirm that we are in the process of an orderly shutdown of all our operations”, said Taylor. “This closure will be complete within approximately 24–hours”.

Joining an already stellar April lineup, comedian Chelsea Handler, will make audience members laugh at Fallsview Casino’s Entertainment Centre on April 24. With June just around the corner, the Avalon Theatre will welcome Randy Houser, Eli Young Band and Legends in Concert, adding even more excitement to a fun summer of entertainment.
