(Niagara Falls, ON) – November 26, 2015. November marks the 10th anniversary for the Responsible Gaming

Resource Centre (RGRC) program in Ontario gaming venues. Since opening its first centres at Fallsview Casino Resort and Caesars Windsor in 2005, the Responsible Gambling Council (RGC) has provided information, assistance and referral through the RGRC program to more than 1.3 million people.

“When launching a program like this, it can be hard to step up and be first in line,” says Jon Kelly, CEO of the Responsible Gambling Council. “I want to acknowledge the management and staff at Fallsview Casino Resort and the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) for the commitment they made – and continue to make – to this program, which has helped make it a model for the world.”

Niagara Falls, ON (May 20, 2015) – Niagara Casinos was awarded a 4 Green Keys rating from Green Key Global acknowledging their sustainable convention facilities and practices, topping off another year of substantial environmental initiatives at both Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara.

Green Key Global, a leading environmental certification body, takes a comprehensive look at how facilities perform in key areas, such as: energy, water, waste, training, policies, procurement, auditing, air quality, and more. Facilities are then awarded a rating from one to five Keys, five being the highest attainable. Detailed performance reports showcase accomplishments while also outlining improvements to be considered.

Feb. 12, 2015 – A new home at the Meridian Centre for the City’s sports hall of fame means thousands of visitors every week can marvel at some of the most outstanding achievements in St. Catharines sports history.

The City of St. Catharines proudly unveiled the St. Catharines Sports Hall of Fame, sponsored by Fallsview Casino Resort, at the hall’s new home, the concourse level at the Meridian Centre. Mayor Walter Sendzik said the Meridian Centre is a great location for the hall as residents and visitors will be able to view and appreciate some of the greatest accomplishments in St. Catharines’ rich sports history.

Fallsview Casino Resort & Casino Niagara win Top Employer Award for 5th year running

Niagara Falls, ON – For the fifth consecutive year Niagara Casinos has been named one of Hamilton-Niagara’s Top Employers by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers.
