Rodrigo y Gabriela – In Between Thoughts…A New World Tour arrives at the Avalon Theatre

(Niagara Falls, ON) February 15, 2023 – The Grammy Award-winning duo Rodrigo y Gabriela hits the Avalon Theatre on July 2. The duo grew up listening to a unique blend of classic rock, heavy metal, and flamenco music. These influences are evident in their music to this day. This year sees the release of their most ambitious project yet, the Advaita Vedanta-inspired In Between Thoughts…A New World.

“There is no secret to Rodrigo y Gabriela’s success. They are talented musicians, open-hearted and happy entertainers, and we are excited to have them perform at the Avalon Theatre,” says Cathy Price, Vice President Marketing, Niagara Casinos.

Rodrigo y Gabriela gained recognition quickly for their live shows and made their full-length debut with re-Foc in 2002. The duo has also released eight more acclaimed and kaleidoscopic albums, including Area 52 (released in 2012 with a Cuban orchestra), 9 Dead Alive (released in 2014 with a more rock-leaning sound) and Mettavolution, which won Best Contemporary Instrumental Album at the 2020 Grammy Awards.

“Rodrigo y Gabriela are world-renowned, and they are coming to Niagara Falls this summer!” says Price. “It will be a sight to see and it’s happening at the Avalon Theatre and Fallsview Casino Resort”.
