(Niagara Falls, ON) November 22, 2022 – Fallsview Casino Resort is continuing to elevate their entertainment, dining & beverage offerings with the launch of “Bar Barista”, an elegantly curated space that transitions seamlessly from an artisanal coffee bar during the day to a unique cocktail experience in the evening.
“There is so much excitement amongst our team around the introduction of Bar Barista,” says Richard Willett, Vice President of Resort Operations with Niagara Casinos. “After a number of years where our ability to connect socially with friends, family and colleagues was significantly impacted, we are ecstatic to be able to offer such a uniquely thoughtful experience for guests and visitors – whether enjoying a fresh pressed juice and delicately-made latte in the morning, or creative and contemporary cocktails alongside locally-sourced tapas at night.”
Bar Barista prioritizes locally made produce and products, with their coffee offerings supplied by 416 Coffee, operated out of St. Catharines, Ontario. The daytime menu features euro style pastries to enjoy alongside your french press, freshly squeezed kale booster or mimosa.
By evening, the cocktails are exceptionally intricate – which is clear by the names themselves – with drinks such as the “5PM”, a pistachio infused mezcal, with muddled roasted beet, fresh lime juice and spice syrup. The menu will always be evolving, with things like “Cocktail Oysters” – a decadent edible cocktail served as ‘oysters’ – being perfected in the lab in order to make its debut during the holiday
season.
The locally sourced menu includes a diverse array of small plates such as Niagara Pingue Prosciutto and salami, alongside grissini with Kozlik’s Niagara mustard, or a chicken liver pate served with Niagara ice wine syrup, citrus cranberry compote, pickled shallots and crostini.
