(Niagara Falls, ON) February 3rd, 2022 – After temporarily dimming the lights and closing The Avalon Theatre inside Fallsview Casino Resort last month, we are excited to announce that show lights are shining bright in anticipation of a stellar March entertainment line-up!
We are thrilled to once again offer legendary entertainment experiences to our patrons with safety being the top priority. “We remain committed to the safety of our guests and associates, and will continue to adhere to all public health measures as we get back to providing the world-class entertainment our guests know and love!” said Cathy Price, VP of Marketing for Niagara Casinos.
Starting the month off is Jersey Nights – an exciting celebration of the Jersey Boys! A tribute show to the greatest hits of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, audience members will enjoy all-time classics like Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like a Man and December, 1963 (Oh What a Night). Celebrate Jersey Nights with us from March 9th to 16th!
For two nights only, experience the a cappella stylings of Straight No Chaser with their Back In The High Life tour on March 18th and 19th. With over 1.6 million album sales just in the U.S., the group has worked with musical legends including Sir Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, and Sir Elton John!
Enjoy the original and timeless rock n’ roll sound of The Platters. Cited as the most groundbreaking vocal group of the early rock and roll era, their iconic hits include The Great Pretender, Twilight Time, Smoke Gets in Your Eyes and Only You (And You Alone). Catch one of their legendary performances March 22nd or 23rd.
March concludes with Forever Plaid! Featuring a close-harmony quartet reminiscent of classic 1950’s groups The Four Aces and The Four Freshman, Forever Plaid is both funny and timeless. Performers Sparky, Smudge, Jinx and Frankie execute charmingly outlandish choreography with their classic barbershop melodies that tells the story of “The Plaids” returning from the afterlife for one final chance at musical glory. Catch a matinee or evening performance, running from March 26th to 31st.
In accordance with Ontario Public Health mandates, guests will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the enhanced vaccine certificate with QR code and valid government-issued identification to enter the theatre. Guests must also receive their final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before providing the proof of being fully vaccinated. Capacity restrictions will also be in effect where required.
