Fallsview Casino will kick off the Year of the Goat on Friday, February 20 with a traditional Lion Dance performance.
President of Niagara Casinos Art Frank will bring the lion to life with a traditional “eye-dotting” ceremony before the start of the dance.

Fallsview Casino will feature a number of activities throughout the 15-day festival that will highlight various aspects of Chinese culture, including:
Chinese New Year Gala Dinner in the Grand Hall on February 24 (by invitation only)
Chinese New Year dishes served in the Golden Lotus from February 18-25
Property-wide decorations
Media interested in photo opportunities of the Lion Dance performance must register in advance by contacting Samantha Hoodless, Communications Specialist, by 4:30 p.m. on February 19. All journalists will be required to adhere to the following rules:
1. All members of the media must meet a Communications representative of the casino in the Fallsview Casino main entrance no later than 1:50 p.m.
2. Photography will only be permitted in the main entrance of Fallsview Casino and only for the duration of the photo opp.
3. Photographers – including freelancers – must be assigned to the show by an accredited news organization.
4. Photography must not include any live gaming or patrons not involved in Lion Dance performance.
5. Media photography is strictly prohibited in all other parts of Fallsview Casino Resort.
