Mr. D Reunion Live, an evening of comedy featuring the cast of Mr. D. The Canadian television series followed the misadventures of Gerry Duncan, an underqualified schoolteacher affectionately nicknamed “Mr. D” by his students. Airing on CBC for eight seasons, the show was inspired by Gerry Dee’s real-life experiences as a high school teacher before he transitioned to comedy full-time. Known for its sharp humour, the series highlighted the everyday challenges Mr. D faced as he navigated the complexities of teaching while dealing with students and staff.
