(Niagara Falls, ON) October 11, 2024 – Canadian Actor and Comedian Gerry Dee is heading to the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino on Friday, February 21, 2025, as part of the Gerry Dee: Funny You Should Say That tour. The showtime is 9:00pm. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 18 at 10:00am through ticketmaster.ca.
“Gerry can take everyday life and circumstances and poke good clean humour into it — all relatable. His delivery is magnificent!” says Cathy Price, Vice President of Marketing, Niagara Casinos. “We can’t wait for the laughs this February.”
Born in Scarborough, Toronto, Gerry Dee played varsity hockey and golf at university before going on to become a physical education teacher. His experiences coaching young athletes and students provided him plenty of fodder for his stand-up act, and in 1999 he was named Toronto’s Funniest New Comic. After deciding to pursue comedy full-time, Dee achieved success by winning multiple comedy competitions and accolades, including the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition in 2002 — an honour he shares with comic legends Robin Williams and Ellen DeGeneres.
Gerry Dee was the star and co-creator of the hit CBC comedy Mr.D for eight seasons. He is currently the host of Family Feud Canada and plays the role of “Templeton Dudge” in the sitcom Animal Control on FOX Television. His first book, Teaching: It’s Harder Than It Looks was released in 2012 and was a national best seller. He released his second book in October 2023.
