(Niagara Falls, ON) November 21, 2023 – Fallsview Casino Resort celebrates the timeless hits of ABBA with the production of Dancing Queen on January 18-21, followed by adult contemporary artist Dominic Mancuso on January 27, then folk soul storyteller Colbie Caillat on February 23, and finally king of the twist Chubby Checker on March 4-6.
Dancing Queen features a dynamic cast of singers and dancers, beautiful costumes, and dazzling choreography. This high-octane musical extravaganza features fabulous Broadway style production pieces, performed to wall-to-wall mega Abba hits, including “Money Money Money”, “Dancing Queen”, “Voulez Vous”, “Waterloo”, and many more. It also includes fabulous party classics from the 70’s, and a dazzling compilation of highlights from the iconic film Saturday Night Fever. Guaranteed to have everyone dancing, singing and swinging in the aisles. So, dig out those flares, put on your dancing shoes and get ready for the biggest 70’s party ever! See the show January 18-21 at OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino.
The music continues on January 27 at the Avalon Theatre with Canada’s own Dominic Mancuso known for his signature sound – a fusion of Rock, Jazz, R&B and World music. A consummate storyteller, Mancuso weaves a tapestry of texture with his rich, deeply expressive voice peppered with his distinctive rasp, that earned him a Juno & Canadian Folk Music award in the process. Swooping and soaring through his narratives, he transcends a range of emotions – reaching and connecting with audiences.
Honored with two GRAMMY Awards and more than 15 billion streams, accomplished artist Colbie Caillat plays at OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino on February 23. Her debut album Coco hit #5 on Billboard and is certified 3x Platinum, while her Platinum-selling follow-up album Breakthrough landed at #1 on Billboard. Starting with her breakthrough hit “Bubbly” which is certified 6x Platinum, her radio career features eight #1 and/or top 10 singles including “Realize”, “Try”, and her GRAMMY-winning duet with Jason Mraz, “Lucky”. Her live show is personal and engaging in any setting and she has become an expert storyteller.
Chubby Checker is an entertainment industry icon best known for popularizing “The Twist”, the number one song of all time and the only song to hit the number one position twice in two different years. It was voted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018. Chubby also invented and popularized many other dances, including The Fly, The Pony, The Shake and The Hucklebuck. All of them exist in some form today on the dance floor, but it’s the legacy of “The Twist” that endures and secures Chubby’s place in history. See the show March 4-6 at the Avalon Theatre.
Cathy Price, Vice President of Marketing, Niagara Casinos said ” Fallsview Casino Resort has an incredible range of entertainment to showcase in 2024.
