(Niagara Falls, ON) February 9, 2026 – Celebrate the Year of the Horse at Fallsview Casino! Throughout February, guests can enjoy a full-scale Lunar New Year celebration, featuring exciting events, live entertainment, delicious food and drink, and a variety of promotions across the property.

Lunar New Year, one of the biggest holidays in Asian culture has become an annual tradition at Fallsview Casino Resort with many patrons looking forward to celebrating an event full of history and culture. The Year of the Horse is associated with vitality, success and perseverance which ties in perfectly to celebrate the new year. Annual festivities return with Fallsview Casino’s Lunar New Year promotion to celebrate the season. Momentum members can swipe their Momentum card at a promotional kiosk for a chance to be a qualifier at the grand prize giveaway until February 28. Five qualifiers will be drawn weekly for the 5pm March 7 grand prize giveaway of two brand new Honda Civics.
On February 17 at 2pm celebrations continue with a property-wide lion dance through Fallsview Casino’s Galleria, casino gaming floor and Golden Lotus restaurant. There are so many aspects of Lunar New Year that are tied to bringing good luck for the year ahead, from the ceremonial ‘dotting of the lion’s eyes’ to wake the sleeping lion, to the heart pounding sound of the drums, petting of the lions and the memorable ‘eating of the lucky lettuce’ by the lions which is shared with many guests as a cherished keepsake.
