(Niagara Falls, ON) February 25, 2020 – Iliza: The Forever Tour is coming to Fallsview Casino’s Entertainment Centre this July and promises to be a hilarious night of stand-up comedy.
Born in Manhattan, New York and raised in Dallas, Texas, Iliza Shlesinger started participating in improvisation and comedy sketch groups at a very young age. After graduating from college, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her stand-up comedy career. In 2008, she gained national attention by winning NBC’s Last Comic Standing.
Today she is a leading comedian with a loyal fan base who create their own Iliza inspired swag to wear to her shows. In 2019, she premiered her 5th Netflix stand-up special Unveiled, which delves into her journey of getting married. Other Netflix specials include War Paint, Freezing Hot, and Confirmed Kills. Also venturing into the acting world, Iliza will co-star opposite Mark Wahlberg in the movie Spenser Confidential, directed by Peter Berg which will premiere on Netflix this March. Iliza recently released her first book Girl Logic: The Genius and the Absurdity, which is a collection of essays and observations on a confident woman’s approach to friendship, singlehood, and relationships.
The Forever Tour kicked off this January, with Iliza touring around the globe, making stops in the United States, Canada, Australia, Vietnam, Thailand, the United Kingdom, Hungary, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Norway and Ireland.
